伊弉諾神宮 / Izanagi Shrine

伊弉諾尊と伊弉冉尊の2神が祀られている伊弉諾神宮は、古事記や日本書紀に記載がある中で全国最古の神社と言われています。境内には2神が宿る安産子授、夫婦円満、縁結びなどの御利益をもたらすといわれている御神木、夫婦大楠があり、樹齢はなんと約900年です。

Izanagi Shrine is said to be the oldest shrine in Japan, where two gods, Izanagi-no-Mikoto and Izanami-no-Mikoto, are enshrined, as described in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki. In the precincts, there is a sacred tree that is said to bring blessings such as safe delivery, childbearing, marital harmony, and matchmaking, where the two gods dwell, the husband and wife Okusu, which is about 900 years old.
