柳まつりは1935年から続く地域最大の夏祭りで、夏の風物詩として例年約6万人が盛り上がっています。フランクフルトやかき氷などたくさんの屋台が並び、メインストリートの大開通りでは豊岡おどりが行われます。2日の夜には約2000発の花火が夜空に打ち上げられ、夏を締めくくるような幻想的な雰囲気を味わうことができます。
