石津太神社のやっさいほっさいは、漂着した海の神様「えびす神」を村人が焚火で暖めたという故事から始まったと言われているお祭りです。「やっさいほっさい」と掛け声を掛け合いながら、火の中に飛び込んでいきます。参拝客も火渡りを行うこともできるため、観光客からの人気が高いお祭りです。
