新潟三大高市の一つで、約450店の露店が並ぶ縁日のようなお祭りです。新潟名物のぽっぽ焼きやおばけ屋敷などが楽しめます。また、蒲原神社では、一年の稲作の豊凶を占う御神籤という830年の伝統を持つ神事が行われます。
