大注連縄で結ばれた男岩、女岩の2つは合わせて「夫婦岩」と呼ばれています。夫婦岩は恋愛の象徴とされており、縁結びなどで有名です。また5月から7月は夫婦岩の間から朝日を眺めることができ、その光景はとても幻想的です。
