居蔵造りと呼ばれる、家事から家を守るための街並みが会場に選ばれているため、「ひなもん」が白い街並みを鮮やかに飾っていきます。ひなもんとはちりめんや古い布で作られる吊るし飾りのことで、ひなもんが町中をピンクに彩っていく様子は、まるで梅が咲いたようです。
