日本最大の湖、琵琶湖は滋賀県の約6分の1の面積を占めており、湖の形が琵琶に似ていることから琵琶湖と呼ばれるようになりました。2016年にオープンした琵琶湖テラスでは、琵琶湖だけでなく滋賀県全体を一望することができます。

At Lake Biwa Terrace, which opened in 2016, you can enjoy a panoramic view of not only Lake Biwa but also the whole of Shiga Prefecture.
