虹の松原 / Niji no Matsubara

静岡の「三保の松原」福井の「気比の松原」と共に日本三大松原として、その名を連ねるのが佐賀県唐津市にある「虹の松原」です。 唐津湾の海浜に虹の弧のように連なる約100万本のクロマツ。また、虹の松原には昔から語り継がれた「七不思議」があります。

Niji no Matsubara in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, is one of the three great pine groves of Japan, along with Miho no Matsubara in Shizuoka and Kehi no Matsubara in Fukui. There are about one million black pines that stretch along the seashore of Karatsu Bay like an arc of a rainbow. There are also seven wonders that have been handed down from ancient times in Niji no Matsubara.
