世界中から集まった100機を超えるバルーンが空一帯に広がるこのイベントは、アジア最大級のスカイスポーツイベント（熱気球競技大会）です。
100万人近くの観光客が訪れる人気のイベントで、様々なキャラクターや動物のバルーンも、天候がいい場合は間近で鑑賞することができます。
また、夜も楽しめる夜間係留の「ラ・モンゴルフィエ・ノクチューン」も開催されます。
