指定面積は約12，726坪、すべての建物の面積は合計195坪になります。
2000年年3月30日に特別名勝、同年の12月2日に世界遺産に登録されました。
It is the largest villa of the Ryukyu royal family built in 1799 and is known as a place to entertain Chinese emperors’ envoys. The designated area is about 12,726 tsubo, and the total area of all buildings is 195 tsubo. On March 30, 2000, it was designated as a special scenic spot and registered as a World Heritage Site on December 2 of the same year.
