沖縄国際カーニバルは世界の民族舞踊、ミスハイビスカスコンテスト、サンバカーニバル、ダンスショー、ミュージックライブなどが行われ、メインイベントのであるカーニバルパレードでは、それぞれの個性を出した市民団体や市内在住の外国人チームなどがゲート通りをユニークな仮装や衣装で行進します。
Okinawa International Carnival features ethnic dances from around the world, Miss Hibiscus Contest, Samba Carnival, dance shows, music live and more. In the main event, the Carnival Parade, citizen groups and foreign teams living in the city march along Gate Street in unique costumes and outfits that show their individuality.
