天領日田おひなまつり / Tenryo Hita Hina Festival

江戸時代に代官所が置かれ、九州随一といわれるほどの繁栄を極めた天領日田で開かれるひな祭り。
市内の10数か所の旧家や資料館にて、往時の文化を物語る全国的にも珍しい雛人形から、庶民の間で親しまれた紙と布で作る「おきあげ雛」と呼ばれる人形まで、沢山のひな人形やひな道具が一斉に展示・公開され、流しびなやパレードなどのイベントも行われます。
A Hina festival held in Tenryo Hita, where a daikan office was established and prospered as the best in Kyushu during the Edo period. At more than 10 old houses and museums in the city, a variety of Hina dolls and Hina tools are displayed and opened to the public, from rare Hina dolls that tell the culture of those days nationwide, to “Okiake Hina” dolls made of paper and cloth that were popular among the common people. There are also events such as Nagashibina and parade.
