1994年に「古都京都の文化財」としてユネスコの世界文化遺産に登録された二条城は、1603年に徳川家康が宿泊所として築きました。敷地内の二の丸御殿は、15代将軍慶喜が大政奉還を表明したことで有名です。
Nijo Castle, which was registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994 as “Cultural Properties of Ancient Kyoto”, was built by Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1603 as a lodging place. The Ninomaru Palace on the premises is famous for the fact that the 15th shogun Yoshinobu declared the restoration of imperial rule.
