開創から約400年の歴史があります。
蛇の目の紋が入った巨大な仁王門をくぐると石畳の参道が続き、桜木と塔頭12カ寺が並んでいます。176段の急匂配の階段「胸突雁木」を登ると拝殿が現れ、さらに300段上がると清正の銅像があります。

When you pass through the huge Niomon gate with a snake’s eye crest, you will see a stone-paved approach with cherry trees and twelve sub-temples lined up. If you climb up the steep stairs of “Munetsuki Ganagi” with 176 steps, you will see the main hall, and if you go up another 300 steps, you will see a bronze statue of Kiyomasa.
