内田城は、野根丙の竈戸神社の北側にそびえる比高90ｍほどの山稜に築かれています。
堀切や竪堀は高知県でも有数の大きさ、深さで、虎口は平入が大半であるが、石積を伴うものやスロープ、枡形の虎口もあり、高知県でも見ごたえのある山城の一つです。
Uchida Castle is built on a mountain ridge about 90m high that towers over the north side of Kamado Shrine in Nonehei. The moats and vertical moats are among the largest and deepest in Kochi Prefecture, and most of the tiger mouths are flat entrances, but there are also some with stone walls, slopes, and masugata tiger mouths. It is one of the most impressive mountain castles in Kochi Prefecture.
