秋葉祭り / Akiha Festival

笛、太鼓、鉦の囃子で3キロの山径を早朝から夕方にかけてっゆっくりと練り歩く土佐三大祭りの一つです。
祭りの当日、本村地区、霧之窪地区、沢渡地区の「三つの踊子地区」と神社側の「郷付き」の４団体が岩屋神社に集合し、200人程の行列を編成し、神様を神輿に乗せ、岩屋神社から市川家、法泉寺、中越家（しだれ桜の名所）とゆかりの地を巡りながら秋葉神社まで行列をなして歩きます。

On the day of the festival, four groups from “three dancer districts” of Honmura district, Kirinokubo district and Sawatari district and “goutuki” from the shrine side gather at Iwaya Shrine and form a procession of about 200 people. They carry the god on a mikoshi and walk in a procession from Iwaya Shrine to Ichikawa House, Hoseiji Temple and Nakoshi House (famous for weeping cherry blossoms), places related to them.
