竹林寺 / Chikurinji Temple

本堂などが国の重要文化財である寺付近は、竹林寺用倉山県立自然公園に指定されているほか、境内は竹林に囲まれております。 春は山ツツジや桜、夏は紫陽花や蓮、秋は銀杏・紅葉などの樹木が四季折々移り変わり、訪れる人の目を彩りを与えてくれます。

The temple, whose main hall and other buildings are national important cultural properties, is designated as Chikurinji Temple Yorozuyama Prefectural Natural Park near the temple, and the precincts are surrounded by bamboo groves. In spring, mountain azaleas and cherry blossoms, in summer, hydrangeas and lotuses, in autumn, ginkgo and autumn leaves, and other trees change with the seasons, giving color to the eyes of visitors.
