知覧城 / Chiran Castle

規模やまとまり、残りの良さで南九州を代表する山城です。 江戸時代は武士団の集住地域として整備されたため、現在も武家屋敷が残っています。 城内には枡型虎口や土塁、やぐら台、横矢など防御施設が築かれています。
