厳島神社 / Itsukushima Shrine

鳥居が海に浮かぶ風景が有名な厳島神社は、6時間ごとに干満が繰り返されますが、もし満潮でも鳥居の下をゆったりとくぐることができる「ろかい舟」などで近くで見ることができます。美しい海と神社を楽しめるなんてお得ですね。

Itsukushima Shrine is famous for its torii gate floating on the sea. The tide changes every 6 hours, but even if it is high tide, you can see it up close by taking a “rokai boat” that can pass under the torii gate at a leisurely pace. It’s a great deal to enjoy the beautiful sea and shrine.
