鞆の浦 / Tomonoura

日本で最初に国立公園に指定された鞆の浦は、かの有名なジブリ映画「崖の上のポニョ」の舞台のモデルとされています。ポニョだけでなく、たくさんの映画やドラマのロケ地としても有名で、1867年には坂本龍馬が率いる「いろは丸」が沈没してしまったという伝説もあります。

Tomonoura is the first national park designated in Japan, and is said to be the model for the stage of the famous Ghibli movie “Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea”. Not only Ponyo, but also many movies and dramas have been filmed here, and there is also a legend that “Irohamaru” led by Ryoma Sakamoto sank in 1867.
