1602年、細川忠興公が約７年の歳月を経て築上した小倉のシンボルで、初期天守の望楼に通じる4階より5階が大きい「唐造り」の名城として知られています。
春は約300本の桜、秋にはケヤキやイチョウの美しい紅葉が見られます。

It is known as a famous castle with a “karahafu” style, where the fifth floor is larger than the fourth floor that connects to the watchtower of the early castle keep.
