赤煉瓦ビルを修復して造られた、鉄道の歴史や魅力を集めた記念館です。
ミニ鉄道公園や運転シミュレーターなどの体験や、蒸気機関車や人気列車の実物展示、実物資料、駅員の歴代制服、明治時代の客車の再現などを見る事ができます。
The museum mainly exhibits impressionist paintings such as Renoir, Degas, Monet, ukiyo-e prints from the Edo to Meiji periods, 20th century art centered on tableaux and prints, and local artists’ works mainly from western Japan. It is also famous as a location for movies, such as “Death Note” and “Library War”.
