北九州市立美術館 / Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art

ルノワール、ドガ、モネなどの印象派、江戸から明治にかけての浮世絵、タブローや版画を中心とする20世紀美術、西日本地域を中心とする地元作家作品を主に展示がなされています。 映画のロケ地としても有名で、「デスノート」「図書館戦争」の撮影場所になりました。

The museum mainly exhibits impressionist paintings such as Renoir, Degas, Monet, ukiyo-e prints from the Edo to Meiji periods, 20th century art centered on tableaux and prints, and local artists’ works mainly from western Japan. It is also famous as a location for movies, such as “Death Note” and “Library War”.
