玉名温泉を舞台に繰り広げられる、熊本県北最大規模の花火大会で、「ミュージック花火」(1万発)と「希望の一発」合計10,001発の花火が菊池川をはさんで間近で次々に打ち上げられ、夜空を彩ります。
普通の花火大会とは一風変わった「音と光の幻想」の演出や、フィナーレのワイドスターマインの大連発はまさに圧巻です。
