諏訪神社秋季例大祭は天保年間から続く関東三大祭りの1つで、大きなちょうちんが並んだ7台の山車が繰り出します。梶棒係の腕の見せ所の山車のすれ違う際、お囃子の競り合いが行われますがこれが大迫力で、見ごたえのある競り合いが行われます。山車の上では鮮やかに着飾った女性の踊り子が華やかに舞っています。
Suwa Shrine Autumn Festival is one of the three major festivals in Kanto that has been held since the Tenpo era, and seven floats with large lanterns line up. When the floats pass each other, there is a competition of music, which is a showcase of the skill of the pole bearers. It is very powerful and impressive. On top of the floats, female dancers dressed in colorful costumes dance gorgeously.
