元々霊魂を鎮めるために始まった山焼きは、約30分から1時間ほど時間をかけて山全体を燃やしていきます。夜景に赤く映えた炎と、打ちあがった花火が華やかに夜闇を照らす光景はまさに圧巻です。この景色を見るために、毎年10万人を超える観光客が訪れています。
