天守は明治時代に一度失われましたが、平成16年に木造で復元されました。戦後復元された木造天守としての四層四階は日本初で、19.15mの高さは日本一です。
現在、江戸時代から残る台所櫓・南隅櫓など4棟の櫓は国の重要文化財、城跡一帯が県指定史跡に指定されています。
Ozu Shrine, known as the god of business prosperity, household safety, easy delivery, and abundant fishing, is used as a shooting location for many movies and TV shows such as “Tokyo Love Story”. Every year from January 9th to 11th, the “Toka Ebisu Festival” is held, attracting many visitors. It is still affectionately called “Warei-sama”.
