今治城 / Imabari Castle

高松城、中津城と並ぶ日本三大海城です。 かつては内堀・中堀・外堀の3つの堀が築かれ、日本最大級の船入を備えた大規模な海城でした。 天守には歴史資料が展示されており、最上階は展望台になっています。最上階からは瀬戸内海を一望でき、その景色は圧巻です。

One of the three major sea castles in Japan, along with Takamatsu Castle and Nakatsu Castle. It used to have three moats: inner moat, middle moat, and outer moat, and was a large-scale sea castle with Japan’s largest ship entrance. Historical materials are exhibited in the castle tower, and the top floor is an observatory. You can enjoy a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea from the top floor, and the view is breathtaking.
